On this week’s Mediabase urban radio chart, ‘Calm Down’ rises two spots to reach the #1 spot.
The song was able to do so thanks to its 5,951 spins during the August 6-12 tracking period. That number is up by 621 spins from the previous week.
Previously, ‘Calm Down’ topped other radio formats such as pop radio, where it become the first Afrobeats song to do so. It also became the first Afrobeats song to lead for multiple weeks on the format as well. Additionally, it also topped the rhythmic radio chart earlier this year as well.
